Sometimes something is simply entirely exclusive
Exhibition 'IKARUS WILL NICHT BRENNEN' in the gasometer in Dortmund. An artist's heart leaps at this: doing something nobody has done before.
The Hoesch gasometer, an industrial monument on the Phoenix West site, is a genuinely tall and imposing landmark, and it suits the Ikarus series perfectly. Ikarus and Phoenix are related in spirit as younger and elder brother, just as the Henrichshütte is to the gasometer.
